Also this knife is made of the, by ESEE Knives much applied, 1095 carbon steel. This has sublime cutting properties and is not hard to sharpen. The main drawback, an increased rust susceptibility, is to a large extent offset by the high quality powder coating which covers the steel. It remains wise to keep this knife dry and possibly oil it a bit at times.
