The KA-BAR EK Commando Knife EK50 is the modern interpretation of the classic EK Commando knife. This version has a clippoint bowie blade fitted with a very sharp point. The origins of the design, and the handle design in particular, dates back to World War II. In 1941 the original EK Commando Knife was designed by John Ek.
