The Laguiole en Aubrac Gourmet bread knife is an elegant, handmade bread knife. When you look at the knife you notice how the end of the blade slopes upward. Usually a bread knife has a relatively straight edge to cut even slices. The main advantage of this unique blade shape is the pointed tip. This is perfect for cutting through tough crusts. The rest of the blade is straight. Because the blade is 25 cm long, there is enough edge left to cut even slices of bread. This knife was made by hand in Espalion, France.
